Miesha Theresa Tate, born on August 18, 1986 is an American mixed martial artist. She currently competes in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), where she was a previous UFC Women's Bantamweight champion. Tate was previously a competitor for Strikeforce which is where she is a former Strikeforce Women's Bantamweight Champion. Tate was vice-president of ONE Championship. She is currently ranked 10 in the UFC women's bantamweight rankings, as on the 3rd of October, 2022.



 



 Early life



 Tate was the daughter of Michelle Tate and Robert Schmidt. Tate was born in Tacoma, Washington. She was a tomboy in her early years and often was on the playground with boys.
